The Galil MAR (Micro Assault Rifle) is a compact assault rifle. It is also referred as Micro Galil. This weapon is based on the Galil AR assault rifle, but has updated design and a number of new features. This weapon was designed for army and police special forces, vehicle and artillery crews, army staff, paratroopers and other soldiers, who need a more compact weapon. This compact assault rifle was first publicly revealed in 1994. Since then it has undergone several changes.
